Why DLP Sucks - Direct from the CEO of a DLP Company by Ken Levine
DLP is a four letter word in security circles. A technology that came out with high expectations, drove high demand, but everyone and their mother has a DLP horror story. Years spent in classification, agent fatigue, more false positives than you can shake a stick at. Despite its history, people are saying it could be the savior from the data breaches du jour. But… can it really be? Have IT pros, vendors and analysts learned from past failures? Are we just setting ourselves up for a repeat? - See more at: https://www.rsaconference.com/events/us15/crowdsourced-voting/108-why-dlp-sucks-direct-from-the-ceo-of-a
To manage in-house or to outsource? That is the security question! by Mark Stevens
Security pros often find themselves caught between a rock and a hard place. They want the latest and greatest, biggest whazmacadoo, most advanced tools available but they lack the staff or expertise to manage it in-house. Nothing is worse than shelfware or a product deployment that fails because the team just isn’t capable of managing it. But outsourcing security sounds S-C-A-R-Y… and you ain’t got no alibi (if that fails). So, put on your big boy pants and join the session to hash it out. - See more at: https://www.rsaconference.com/events/us15/crowdsourced-voting/146-to-manage-in-house-or-to-outsource-that
