We’re proud to support youth technology education through our third year sponsoring the Savvy Cyber Kids' annual Super Run Atlanta. Read on for more about the initiative and how you can get involved!
As a data protection company, we are well aware of the dangers that lurk within cyberspace, especially for kids. That is why over the past three years we have been happy to support, sponsor, and participate in The Savvy Cyber Kids Super Fun Day featuring the 3rd Annual Super Run Atlanta.
Taking place tomorrow, November 5th, at Brook Run Park in Dunwoody, Georgia, this annual fundraiser promotes the importance of screen-time balance while encouraging kids and their families to create lasting memories on and beyond the screen safely. Savvy Cyber Kids is a nonprofit that provides resources for parents and teachers to educate children as they grow up in a world surrounded by technology, teaching concepts such as personal Internet safety, cyber bullying defense, technology/life balancing, digital reputation management, privacy, and more.
After two successful years of the Savvy Cyber Kids Super Run in Atlanta, founder and president of Savvy Cyber Kids Ben Halpert is working to extend the regional program across the nation. With many regions falling short on providing cybersecurity education through public school curriculums, Digital Guardian is happy to help back this grassroots effort!
We’ll be onsite at the event to help celebrate and even give away some cool stuff. If you’re in the area, I encourage you to check it out or learn more on how you can get involved at http://www.savvycyberkids.org!
